Galatians 2:21 "I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
The law said that the way to God was to follow a list of rules and to perform a certain way for God. Paul says that old system no longer applies because Jesus paid the death penalty for sin by dying on the cross. Now we can freely come to God just as we are, mistakes and all, and find forgiveness and freedom. It is God who makes us righteous, nothing we can do on our own.

Do you take advantage of the freedom we now have to approach God in prayer? Is prayer something you take for granted?
