Psalm 27:14, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart, and wait for the Lord."

Have you ever asked God to do something in your life? For example, I asked God to use my musical abilities to serve him more, but to do that, I would need a new guitar. So a couple months later, after consistent prayer and faith that He would pull through, I got a huge load of money I wasn't expecting. That was enough for the guitar. So when you want something that you think God would want you to have, just pray. Come to Him humbly and wanting what's best for Him. Then just wait, be patient, and have faith that He will follow through. I heard a saying once that went like this, "There were two farmers that both needed rain for their crops badly. It was the middle of the drought season. They both prayed to God that they would get rain. Except one of the farmers actually prepared for the rain. That same farmer who prepared for the rain, got the rain. The other farmer who just prayed, did not get the rain." See it takes faith to show God that you are serious and you believe that He can and will do it.
